United Way of Greater Nashville announced that Tiffany Thomson has joined their Community Impact team to serve Robertson County.
In her new role, Thomson will build relationships and identify gaps to support United Way’s work to alleviate poverty and build stronger, healthier communities. Thomson will identify community needs across the areas of education, health, economic mobility and basic needs and will manage the grant allocation processes for Robertson County alongside a local committee of volunteers. Her work will strengthen relationships with cross-sector leaders, including public, private and nonprofit entities, that will expand United Way’s reach and impact.
“My family and I were looking for a new community that had a small-town feel with good people and beauty all around,” said Thomson. “We found that in Robertson County. I am beyond excited to be a part of the work happening here through United Way.”
Thomson has experience in child welfare, most recently as the advocate coordinator for CASA of Robertson County, as well as experience with drug and alcohol prevention and private education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and is pursuing her master’s degree from Lipscomb University in Conflict Management.
Originally from Arizona, Thomson lives in Robertson County with her husband and five children.
