On March 26, hundreds gathered at Caterpillar Financial for United Way of Greater Nashville’s 2024 Annual Meeting.
The event highlighted UWGN’s 2023 impact and recognized corporate partners whose 2023 annual fundraising campaign helped UWGN build stronger communities across middle Tennessee.
Bridgestone was recognized as UWGN’s No. 1 campaign, raising $2.55 million.
Bridgestone, HCA Healthcare, Ingram and Nissan were recognized for raising more than $1 million.
EY, Genesco and Nissan were honored with the Live United award, which honors corporate partners who embody the spirit of Living United through volunteerism, engagement, campaign best practices and creativity.

This year, UWGN recognized three companies as Iris Circle award winners: Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation, Brasfield & Gorrie and Core Civic. The Iris Circle was established in 1997. Hallmarks of the winning companies include an innovative approach to running their workplace campaign and actively engaged corporate leadership.
UWGN also recognized four Day of Action Award winners: Commercial Insurance Associates, Deloitte, Nashville Soccer Club and Tennessee Titans.
“Thank you to all our partners for your commitment to United Way of Greater Nashville last year,” said United Way of Greater Nashville President and CEO Brian Hassett. “Your leadership and support made 2023 an exceptional year and allows us to continue to help our neighbors in need.”
Attendees also heard from panelists Tracey Levine, Executive Director, Healing Housing; Carole Peterson, Executive Director, UpRise Nashville; Guest Speaker LeDeana Whitlock and moderator Erica Mitchell, Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer, United Way of Greater Nashville.
