Meet Amanda: Perfectionist. Problem Solver. Optimist.
Amanda Williams is a graphic designer who worked with our organization as an independent contractor for nearly seven years before transitioning to the United Way team in May 2019. Over the years, she has learned the importance of storytelling through design and has grown in her ability to do this. As a member of the Marketing department, she designs marketing assets for the organization, outreach materials for our programs and creative materials that support workplace campaigns. She enjoys her team and the work they do. “We all work really well together and are supportive of each other,” she says. “We get a lot done but have fun doing it.”
Outside of the workplace, Amanda is most proud of her two kiddos, and she loves to read. Her goal is to read 50 books by December 31, and she has already finished 35 books. “My most enjoyable read so far was Beach Read by Emily Henry,” she says.
As the year progresses, Amanda looks forward getting together with family and friends.
