Bridgestone, HCA Healthcare, Ingram and Nissan North Americas Among Honorees at United Way of Greater Nashville’s Annual Meeting

On March 26, 2025, hundreds gathered at Nissan Stadium for United Way of Greater Nashville’s (UWGN) Annual Meeting. 

The event highlighted UWGN’s 2024 impact and recognized corporate partners whose 2024 annual fundraising campaign helped UWGN build stronger communities across middle Tennessee. 

Bridgestone was recognized as UWGN’s No. 1 campaign, raising $2.5 million. 

Bridgestone, HCA Healthcare, Ingram and Nissan North Americas were recognized for raising more than $1 million.  

United Way also honored outstanding individuals whose leadership and commitment have strengthened its mission. James Weaver received the Tocqueville Society Award, Andy Warren was recognized with the Young Leaders Society Award, and Lucibeth Mayberry received the Patricia Hart Society Award. Their dedication has made a lasting impact on our community.

Rogers Group, CoreCivic, and Atmos Energy were honored with the Live United award, which honors corporate partners who embody the spirit of Living United through volunteerism, engagement, campaign best practices and creativity. 

HD Supply received the Hand Raiser award for their gift toward the work of UWGN and Hands On. 

This year, UWGN recognized three companies as Iris Circle award winners: Caterpillar Financial, Genesco, and HCA Healthcare. The Iris Circle was established in 1997. Hallmarks of the winning companies include an innovative approach to running their workplace campaign and actively engaged corporate leadership. 

UWGN also recognized Volunteerism in Action Award winners: UPS and Ascension Saint Thomas.
