Long Term Recovery Officers Named in Davidson County
In response to the December 2023 tornadoes that devastated parts of Montgomery County, a long-term recovery group has been established. The Clarksville-Montgomery County Long-Term Recovery Group (CMC-LTRG) is a volunteer collaboration of multiple organizations, including but not limited to nonprofit agencies, community civic and service groups, religious, and educational groups that have agreed to meet and to work together to address the long-term needs of survivors who do not have the resources to recover on their own.
“The goal of the CMC-LTRG is to provide cost-effective and coordinated delivery of services so that individuals affected by disaster in Clarksville/Montgomery County receive unduplicated assistance in a timely, efficient, and equitable manner. We know it could take years for the community to recover, and we are here to support our neighbors in need,” said CMC-LTRG Chair Lori Shinton.
